## Narrative

An employee was operating the flaring machine. While loading/adjusting a part in the machine, the foot control was activated and the employee's fingers were caught in the clamping mechanism. The employee sustained injuries to their left index and middle fingers requiring a skin graft and stitches, and was hospitalized.
