## Narrative

A maintenance employee was using a lathe to smooth down rough areas on a shaft using a piece of sandpaper/emery cloth. During the process, the employee's right glove became entangled in the lathe pulling their glove, hand, and arm into the lathe and onto the shaft. The employee sustained fractures to the wrist and arm and soft tissue damage.
