## Narrative

On May 28, 2024, at approximately 8:19 AM, three employees were standing on a wooden pallet that was being elevated by a forklift. The employees also had what is believed to be a stone-type countertop with them on the pallet. One of the three employees stepped off the pallet onto a boat as the pallet was elevated to a height of approximately 6 feet. When the employee stepped off the pallet, the pallet became unbalanced, causing the other employees to fall to the concrete floor below. One employee sustained a head fracture, fractured ribs, and internal bleeding (spleen). The second employee sustained a back injury. Both employees were hospitalized.
