## Narrative

An employee was removing a roll of media from a printing press machine with the provided hoist when the roll shaft became jammed. The employee was manually unjamming it when the shaft released and pinched his right little finger into the cradle that holds the bearing for the shaft. The employee sustained a fingertip amputation.
