## Narrative

An employee was cutting plywood strips for edge forms using a circular saw. The employee was cutting with the plywood nailed down to the table and two hands on the saw. While cutting, the saw bound up momentarily. The employee lost his grip and brought his left hand to the table to catch himself. At this point, the saw reengaged and amputated the tip of his left index finger.
