## Narrative

An employee was preparing to load a trailer in the shipping department and placed a wheel chock on a trailer. He was then descending the dock using the safety chain on a stanchion when the chain broke and he fell approximately 4 feet backward onto the dock floor. The employee was hospitalized with a back injury.
