## Narrative

An employee drove to the project site from his hotel. Upon exiting his vehicle, and during a turning/twisting motion to grab PPE from the backseat, he heard a pop in his back.
The employee was hospitalized and required surgery for fragmented L4 and L5 discs in the lumbar spine.
