## Narrative

An employee was operating a magnetic drill that was on a plate welded to the deck of a ship. The drill bit got caught and the torque overpowered the magnet, pushing the entire drill into a nearby beam (leg of a shipping container). The employee's left hand was caught and their left ring finger got crushed between the drill and the beam, resulting in a fingertip amputation.
