## Narrative

Employees were loading an I-beam using a crane and a scissor lift. The crane lifted the I-beam to where the employees were working in the scissor lift. One employee exited the lift basket to guide the I-beam into position. The employee went to use a strap to position the I-beam on the chamber by pulling the I-beam toward him and getting it into position. The injured employee was in the lift with his hand on the I-beam, and when the I-beam moved, his hand was caught between the I-beam and the scissor lift. The employee sustained an amputation of their left ring fingertip.
