## Narrative

An employee was using a 20-foot ladder to access the roof when he began moving the ladder, lost his balance, and fell 18 feet to the ground. The employee was hospitalized with fractures to his back, pelvis, and five ribs. He also sustained internal bleeding, a kidney injury, and nerve damage to a leg.
