## Narrative

An employee was using a circular saw to cut a wooden board on saw horses. He started to cut at an angle when the saw began to bind. When he went to correct the cut, the saw jumped and contacted his left hand, resulting in a laceration to the index finger and a partial amputation of the thumb tip.
