DRUG: Ten patients with stage II periodontitis will receive epigallocatechin-3-gallate (EGCG)-loaded chitosan nanoparticulate gel injected into the periodontal pockets
DRUG: chitosan nanoparticulate gel (CTN gel)
OTHER: scaling and root planing (SRP) only.
